QTRCO's Partial Stroke -SP (spring) and DP (double acting) type actuation is based upon the proven Rack & Gear concept plus our Tandem Piston Technology. By adding a tandem piston to each end of the actuator, we are able to use this additional piston to control partial stroke of the primary pistons - entirely from the control room.

This unique approach (Patent Applied) requires no pins or other mechanical devices which might be accidentally left in place, thereby preventing full stroke when the actuator is called upon to operate your critical valve.
